What is your favorite summer fruit? Mine is unquestionably watermelon and I can’t think of any other fruit as refreshing as it. Chocolate-dipped watermelon has become one of my favorite summer snacks these days. Do you know any other fruit as juicy as watermelon? We need a lot more liquid in summer and this fruit provides a great amount of it. Eating watermelon is almost like drinking a super cooling cocktail on the beach. It takes you right in front of a blue clean sea once you get a bite from a slice.

How would you like to eat watermelon? As a kid, my favorite way to eat this juicy fruit was to eat a big slice holding from its rind. I wouldn’t care about the mess I got into. My cheeks would get dirty after each bite since I would completely dig into the slice. The juice would drip down my arms to my elbows on the ground. I would love it that way!

How about making this sweet, juicy and refreshing fruit even more attractive? A little chocolate is what you need for this. I used dark chocolate for this chocolate-dipped watermelon, but you can use your favorite one. You can even top them with nuts or sprinkles, but we love them plain. Looking like an elegant dessert, chocolate-dipped watermelon pyramids can be perfectly served as a party food too! I’m sure they will rock!

Well, there isn’t an actual recipe for making chocolate-dipped watermelon and it’s so easy to make. Chill watermelon slices in freezer and dip them into melted chocolate. That’s it! Serve them right away!

These chocolate-dipped watermelon slices make a fantastic surprise for kids too! This will be your kid’s favorite snack in summer!

Chill watermelon wedges in freezer for about 10 minutes. Melt the chocolate in a glass bowl over a saucepan of simmering water. The bottom of the bowl shouldn’t touch the boiling water. Set it aside and let it reach at room temperature when it completely melts. Take watermelon wedges and dip each of them into melted chocolate. Serve them right away! 3.2.2807
