Chilli Petai (Stink Beans) With Anchovies
petai; either raw, with sambal belacan or here's to with ikan bilis/anchovies, chillies, belacan and lime juice. Ingredients
- 200g (1 packet) petai pods - sliced into smaller pieces
- 100g (a handful) small anchovies - soaked for 10 mins and drained
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tsp sugar
- 5 tbsp oil
- Salt for taste
Directions
- To pound/ground
- 5 shallots
- 5 red chillies
- 2 birds eye chillies (optional)
- 1/2 inch roasted belacan
