  • Chicken Cheesy Casserole

    Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 cups milk
    • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
    • 1 (16 oz) pkg mixed vegetables (thawed and drained)
    • 2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
    • 1 cup instant rice
    • 3/4 cup (3 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
    • 1/2 tsp seasoned pepper
    • 1 TBSP crushed potato chips

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350F
    2. Lightly grease 9 x13 inch baking dish. Add milk and soup; Blend well with a wire wisk. Stir in vegetables, chicken, rice, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, 2 TBSP parmesan, garlic powder and seasoned pepper ; Cover.
    3. Bake for 30 minutes.Combine remaining 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, 2 TBSP parmesan cheese and potato chips. Sprinkle over top of casserole.
    4. Bake, uncovered, 15 minutes longer.
    5. Be creative and try different creamed soups, mixed vegetables or cooked meats like turkey or ham.
