Cheesy Potatoes
These are a great side dish to any meal. My family loves them. I usually double the recipe for holidays. Hope you enjoy! Ingredients
- ten potatoes (skins on) cooked, peeled and grated.
- 1/2 pound sharp cheddar cheese grated
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup milk
- 4-5 dashes nutmeg.
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325
- Boil the potatoes with skins on for about an hour. Cool (or run under cold water to expedite the process), peel and grate potatoes. Sometimes when I'm in a hurry, I just mash them with a hand held potato masher. Put potatoes in 9" x 13" baking dish sprayed with Pam.
- Mix remaining ingredients and pour over potatoes. I usually use a little more cheese for our family but up to you.
- Bake for 45 minutes.
