buttery lemon garlic chicken breast
Ingredients
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts thawed
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 palm full parsley
- 6 tbs butter
- 1 tsp salt
- pepper to taste
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper powder
- 13x9 pan (preferrably metal)
Directions
- preheat oven to 350 degrees
- rinse chicken and cut off any extra fat that might be on the meat
- place chicken in pan and coat with lemon juice, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and onion.
- place 1 tbs butter on top of each breast.
- cover with foil and cook for 35 to 45 minutes until meat reaches 175 internal temperature.
- uncover and cook for 10 minutes more to golden brown color is achieved.
- let meat rest 5 minutes before serving.
