Bianca's Mango Float
A favorite filipino dessert. Refreshing, easy and oh so delicious! Ingredients
- About 3 cups of ripe mango flesh (either cubed or sliced thin)
- a cup of cream
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 /2 cup mango juice
- 2 cups graham crackers
- 1/2 cup of melted butter
Directions
- CRUST
- pour melted butter and mango juice in crushed grahams until its well blended. This will produce just damp flecks which shall help form the crackers into a crust.
- Use half of the mix for the crust. Push down to your preferred container until you form a layer.
- Set aside.
- Whip cream and sugar until its light and fluffy reaching soft peaks.
- Start layering cream and then mangoes and then the rest of the crushed graham mixture. Use all mixtures to layer finishing with grahams on top.
- Refrigerate to firm up the cream (this takes about 2 to 3 hours).
