  • Best Ever Cinnamon Rolls With Cake Mix

    Ingredients

    • 2 pkt dry yeast
    • 2 1/2 cup lukewarm water
    • 1 pkt yellow cake mix
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 3 pcs Large eggs
    • 1/3 cup oil
    • 1 1/2 tsp salt
    • 5 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
    • soft butter
    • sugar & cinnamon
    • 1 lb powdered sugar
    • 1/2 stk butter or possibly margarine -- melted
    • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
    • 1/2 cup lowfat milk -- (1/2 to 3/4)

    Directions

    1. Dissolve yeast in hot water for 3 min.
    2. Add in cake mix, 1 cup flour, Large eggs, oil & salt.
    3. Beat well till bubbles appear. Add in 5 1/4 cup flour, slowly.
    4. Stir till soft dough forms.
    5. Knead on well-floured No Mess Dough Disc about 5 min.
    6. Place in greased bowl, let rise in a hot place till double in bulk.
    7. Punch down dough, divide into 3 equal parts. Roll out each section of dough on No Mess Dough Disc, all the way to the edge of discup Spread with softened butter, sprinkle with cinnamon & sugar.
    8. Roll up like jelly-roll.
    9. Cut with dull knife or possibly dental floss into 1" thickness.
    10. Place in a greased baking pan & allow to rise till doubled. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 - 30 min. Ice with powdered glaze while still warm....
    11. Yield: 3 - 4 dozenrollsGlaze:Mix sugar, butter & vanilla.
    12. Stir in lowfat milk to desired consistency.
    13. Drizzle over warm rolls.
    14. German Chocolate Pecan Rolls:Prepare dough as for cinnamon rolls, except substitute 1 pkg. ( 2 layer size)
    15. German chocolate cake mix for the white cake mix.
