  • Beef Tips With Noodles

    Ingredients

    • Serves 2 hungry people
    • 1 lb Sirloin Tip Roast or possibly Tri Tip Roast ( I like this better) Sliced 1/4 inch thick, (or possibly what thickness you choose) and then into strips of your choosing.
    • 1 c. all purpose flour for drenching sirloin strips
    • 1 tsp Kosher salt, or possibly a little more depending on taste
    • 1 tsp freshly grnd pepper
    • 2 Tbsp. Marsala wine
    • 2 x cloves of crushed garlic
    • 1 c. minced yellow onion
    • 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 c. sliced Shitake mushrooms
    • 1 c. white wine
    • 1/2 c. cream
    • 1/2 lb egg noodles or possibly fettuccini cooked al dente and liquid removed

    Directions

    1. Dip the beef strips into the marsala wine and let it soak into the meat.
    2. Combine the flour, salt and pepper together and drench the marsala soaked beef strips in the flour.
    3. In a warm skillet, add in the extra virgin olive oil and brown off the meat.
    4. Add in the onions and garlic and cook till onions are translucent/soft.
    5. Add in the white wine to deglaze the pan and form a sauce.
    6. Add in the cream and mushrooms an simmer till the mushrooms soften a bit and you have a nice gravy. Serve this on top of your noodles.
