    Our family loves the flavor of smoked ribs so we seldom use barbecue sauce while grilling. These barbecued beef short ribs are fantastic! I was watching a cooking video on this site a few weeks ago and the rest is history! You've got to try them!


    • 2 lg pkgs Beef Short Ribs (14 Ribs)
    • Marinade:
    • Apple Cider Vinegar
    • Lemon Juice
    • Dash Kosher salt
    • Few dashes Ms Dash Seasoning
    • Few dashes Black Pepper
    • Few dashes Garlic Powder
    • Few dashes Onion powder
    • Barbecue Sauce:
    • 3/4 c. Brown Sugar
    • 1 c. Ketchup
    • Few squeezes Mustard
    • 6-9 shakes Worcestershire sauce
    • Smoked Paprika
    • 1 Onion, minced
    • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
    • Few shakes Dried Thyme
    • 2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
    • Dash Kosher salt
    • Dash Black Pepper
    • Dash Garlic Powder
    • Dash Onion powder


    1. In small bowl combine the ingredients for the marinade. Pour over ribs generously and marinade for 30 minutes. Set aside.
    2. In a separate bowl,while ribs are marinating, combine ingredients for barbecue sauce and stir briskly. Set aside.
    3. Pour marinade off ribs.
    4. Pour barbecue sauce over top of ribs, coating well with sauce.
    5. Set oven to 300 F and bake, covered for 2.5 hrs.
    6. Remove pan, flip ribs and bake uncovered until brown (approx 30 min).
    7. Remove ribs out of pan or pour off excess oil.
