Beef Short Ribs
Our family loves the flavor of smoked ribs so we seldom use barbecue sauce while grilling. These barbecued beef short ribs are fantastic! I was watching a cooking video on this site a few weeks ago and the rest is history! You've got to try them! Ingredients
- 2 lg pkgs Beef Short Ribs (14 Ribs)
- Marinade:
- Apple Cider Vinegar
- Lemon Juice
- Dash Kosher salt
- Few dashes Ms Dash Seasoning
- Few dashes Black Pepper
- Few dashes Garlic Powder
- Few dashes Onion powder
- Barbecue Sauce:
- 3/4 c. Brown Sugar
- 1 c. Ketchup
- Few squeezes Mustard
- 6-9 shakes Worcestershire sauce
- Smoked Paprika
- 1 Onion, minced
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
- Few shakes Dried Thyme
- 2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
- Dash Kosher salt
- Dash Black Pepper
- Dash Garlic Powder
- Dash Onion powder
Directions
- In small bowl combine the ingredients for the marinade. Pour over ribs generously and marinade for 30 minutes. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl,while ribs are marinating, combine ingredients for barbecue sauce and stir briskly. Set aside.
- Pour marinade off ribs.
- Pour barbecue sauce over top of ribs, coating well with sauce.
- Set oven to 300 F and bake, covered for 2.5 hrs.
- Remove pan, flip ribs and bake uncovered until brown (approx 30 min).
- Remove ribs out of pan or pour off excess oil.
