  • Baked Marinated Tempeh

    Ingredients

    • 1 c. red wine or possibly nonalcoholic red wine
    • 4 c. vegetable stock or possibly water
    • 1/2 c. tamari soy sauce
    • 4 x cloves garlic, chopped
    • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
    • 1 tsp dry sage
    • 2 tsp dry thyme
    • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
    • 1/4 tsp dry red chile flakes
    • 2 tsp maple syrup, honey, or possibly sucanat
    • 6 x 4 ounce portions tempeh

    Directions

    1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Mix all the marinade ingredients together. Place the tempeh in a baking dish and pour the marinade over the tempeh. Bake for 1 1/2 hrs. Either remove the tempeh from the remaining tempeh to serve or possibly freeze, or possibly store the tempeh in the marinadr for up to a week in the refrigerator.
