Asian Turkey Burgers

- 1 pound ground turkey (I use 93% lean)
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbls Soy Sauce
- 6 mushrooms (I use the Baby Bellas, but Shitake would be great as well)
- Olive Oil
- Dash of Pepper
- Sauce:
- 1/4 cup Hoisin Sauce
- 1/2 lime, juiced
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
Directions
- 1. Dice up the mushrooms.
- 2. Saute them in a little bit of olive oil, for about 5 minutes
- 3. Add mushrooms to the meat.
- 4. Season with a dash of pepper, soy sauce, and garlic.
- 5. Mix together, and form into patties. Form them so they have a little well in the middle, so they don't puff up in the middle.
- 6. Make sauce. Mix together hoisin sauce, lime juice and sesame oil.
- 7. Over medium to medium-high heat cook burgers for approx 15 minutes, flipping half way.
