Almond Mini Chip Shortbread
Hershey's Holiday Favorites Great for the Holiday Cookie Platter Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, no substitutes, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 1 cup mini chips semi-sweet chocolate
Directions
- Heat the oven to 350 F
- Grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan
- Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl until fluffy
- Add the flour and the almond extract
- Blend well
- Stir in the small chocolate chips
- Pat into the prepared pan
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown
- Cool for 10 minutes
- Cut into bars or triangles
- Cool completely in the pan on a wire racks
