Alfredo Sauce
Alfredo Sauce can be used topping meats, potatoes mashed or baked, toasted garlic breads, vegetables and is good tasting. Try this . You will like it. Improvise is you wish. Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter (or 2 sticks) Melted
- 1 - 1 1/2 cup heavy cream( or use half and half and eliminate milk)
- 1 cup milk
- 5 cloves of crushed garlic
- 1/4 cup parsley
- 1 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1 ( 11 oz.) Condensed Mushroom Soup
Directions
- 1. Melt butter over low heat
- 2. Add the cream, milk, garlic and parsley. Simmer for about 5 minutes . Stir often to avoid sticking
- 3. Slowly add cheese
- 4. Add Mushroom soup; continually stir
- 5. Let simmer until hot: add water if too thick. Do not boil
- 6. Set aside and use. It also can be frozen and used at a later date
