24 Hour Fruit Salad
Ingredients
- 4 egg yolks, beaten
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 10 ounce miniature marshmallows
- 16 ounce can fruit cocktail, liquid removed
- 16 ounce can pineapple, liquid removed
- 1 c. sliced strawberries
- 1 sliced banana
- 1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped
Directions
- Put together yolks, lemon juice and lowfat milk in top of double boiler. Cook, stirring constantly, till thickened; cool.Put together marshmallows, fruit cocktail and pineapple with cooled, cooked mix. Chill overnight. Mix in strawberries, banana and whipped cream. Serves 12-15.
