24 Hour Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 egg yolks, beaten
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 10 ounce miniature marshmallows
  • 16 ounce can fruit cocktail, liquid removed
  • 16 ounce can pineapple, liquid removed
  • 1 c. sliced strawberries
  • 1 sliced banana
  • 1/2 pt. whipping cream, whipped

Directions

  1. Put together yolks, lemon juice and lowfat milk in top of double boiler. Cook, stirring constantly, till thickened; cool.Put together marshmallows, fruit cocktail and pineapple with cooled, cooked mix. Chill overnight. Mix in strawberries, banana and whipped cream. Serves 12-15.
