Zucchini with sunflower seeds
This is a delight for your taste buds and benefit for your health. Easy recommendation: this goes excellently with fried or baked fish, poultry meat and hamburgers. Ingredients
- 2 medium zucchini
- 3 tbs olive oil
- 3 tbs sunflower seeds, without husks
- 80 g butter
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- ½ lemon, grated rind and juice
- ½ tbs sugar
- ½ tsp sea salt
Directions
1.Wash zucchini, remove the stem and cut lengthwise in ½ cm thick slices.2.Fry the slices in olive oil, in batches, on both sides until light brown. Slices should stay al dente. Place on a paper towel to remove the excess oil and keep warm.Similar Recipes
