Winter Dessert
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/3 cup powder sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 cup Dutch-processed cocoa
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup eggnog
- 1 (6 oz.) vanilla yogurt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 (8 oz.) cool whip
- 1 tsp. peppermint extract
- 1 tsp. peppermint schnapps
- 3 small candy canes, ground
Directions
- Crust: Beat flour, margarine, butter, sugar, salt and cocoa together.
- Pour into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Filling: Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggnog, yogurt until smooth.
- Spread over the crust.
- Spread chocolate chips over the filling layer
- Topping: Mix cool whip, peppermint extract and schnapps.
- Spread over the chocolate chip layer.
- Sprinkle candy canes over the topping layer.
- Decorate.
