Whole Wheat Dog Biscuits
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/4 c. wheat germ
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 4 tbsp. butter, softened
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp. molasses
Directions
- Combine flour, wheat germ, garlic, and healthy pinch of salt in a large bowl. Cut in butter. Stir in beaten egg, molasses, and lowfat milk. Add in sufficient water so mix can be shaped into a ball. Roll dough onto a floured board to a thickness of 1/2 inch. Cut with any shape cookie cutter and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min. Makes approximately 30 biscuits.
