    Directions

Bought my wife Jen this great EH Foudue Pot for Christmas and created some REAL Welsh Rarebit

in it tonight as an appetizer with our dinner.

Welsh Rarebit is a dish made with a savory sauce of melted cheese and various other

ingredients and served hot and is most commonly used as a fondue with a variety

of breads for dipping. Welsh Rarebit can

also be used as a cheese sauce in other recipes.

    1.

    Melt

butter and add all ingredients except the beer and milk. Blend and bring to a boil.

    2.

    Remove

from heat and stir in the milk and place back on the heat and bring to boil

    again.

    3.

    Remove

from heat and stir in the beer.

    4.

    Add

the cheese and whisk (in small proportions) until it is melted and set aside until ready to serve on fondue

    flame.
