Warm Crab Dip
Great Winter Dip when crab is in season and cold nights & entertaining abound. Ingredients
- 8 oz softened light cream cheese
- 1/4 cup reduced fat mayonaise
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 8 oz fresh crab meat, drained
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped chives
- 1 baguette warmed & sliced
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 (dip can be made day before however)
- In a medium sized bowl, mix together cream cheese, mayonaise, lemon juice, mustard, garlic, crab, parmesan & 1/2 chives
- Spoon into dish that can be baked & served in (e.g. ramekin)
- Set on oven rack about 6 inches from top
- Bake until bubbly and starting to brown on top (about 30 minutes)
- Sprinkle remaining chives
- Serve with baguette slices
