Valentine Sugar Cookies
These are such a fun and easy Valentine Cookie to make and a favorite in our home! Ingredients
- 16 ounce roll of refrigerated Sugar cookie dough
- one small tube pink icing gel
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons cold milk
- Scant 1/4 cup raspberry or cherry jelly for inside heart
Directions
- Note: It is important to keep sugar cookie dough cold!
- Roll out a partial 1/3 of dough on a floured surface, using a valentine cutout (I make one dozen at a time) keep remaining dough refrigerated
- Place Valentine cookie cut-outs on a non stick baking sheet pan and bake @ 400 F 6-8 minutes
- Allow to completely cool down
- Repeat each step with remaining 2/3rds of dough
- Mix confectioners sugar, vanilla, milk in a bowl to frost the cooled cookies, decorate with pink gel icing as shown, and jelly choice in the center
- Store in an airtight container(s) in a single row until ready to serve
- Enjoy them!
