    Ingredients

    • 1. 3 slices white bread
    • 2. 1 boiled big potato
    • 3. 2 bunches chopped coriander leaves
    • 4. 1 green chili
    • 5. 2 tbs tomato ketchup
    • 6. 1/2 cup gram flour
    • 7. Salt to taste
    • 8. 1/2 tb lemon juice
    • 9. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    • 10. Oil for deep frying

    2. Mash the boiled potato. Add turmeric and salt and keep aside.

    4. Grind the coriander leaves and green chili with a bit of water. Add salt and lemon juice and keep aside.

    6. Keep the tomato ketchup aside

    8. Make a thick batter of gram by adding water. Add salt.

    10. Put oil to heat.

    12. Take a slice of bread to which you spread the mashed potato onto it.
    13. Take another slice of bread to which you spread the coriander chutney onto. Place this slice onto the slice of bread containing the mashed potato, chutney side up.
    14. Take the third slice of bread to which you spread the tomato ketchup onto and place it ketchup side down on top of the slice of bread containing the coriander chutney.
    15. Dip this whole triple layered sandwich into the gram batter and slowly and carefully place it into the hot oil for deep frying (be extra careful as the oil can splatter out).
    16. Once the bottom part of the sandwich becomes golden brown, slowly turn it over and let the other side become equally brown after which, remove onto a paper towel and cut into squares to reveal the triple layers.
