Traditional Chex Mix
Why mess with a classic? Ingredients
- 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
- 1 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 4 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 2/3 c. Corn Chex cereal
- 2 2/3 c. Rice Chex cereal
- 2 2/3 c. Wheat Chex cereal
- 1 c. salted mixed nuts
- 1 c. pretzel sticks
Directions
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
- In open roasting pan, heat butter in oven. Remove.
- Stir in seasoned salt and Worcestershire.
- Gradually add in cereals, nuts and pretzels, stirring till all pieces are evenly coated.
- Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 min. Spread on absorbent paper to cool.
- Store in airtight container.
