Tomato Basil Bruschetta
Ingredients
- 8 slices French bread , ½ inch thick
- 2 tomatoes, cubed
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil
- 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- seasoning salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat broiler. Cover a medium sized baking sheet with a single layer of bread slices. Brush the slices with olive oil. Dice the tomatoes. In a mixing bowl, combine the tomatoes, olive oil and basil. Mix for two minutes. Place bread under broiler until lightly browned. Remove from broiler and top with the tomato mixture.
