Texas Sweet and Sour Coleslaw
This is a tasty non-mayo coleslaw recipe popular in Texas. It needs to be be refrigerated for several hours before serving. Ingredients
- 6 cups coleslaw mix (Dole or Fresh Express)
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 4 scallions, chopped
- 1 small bell pepper, chopped
- 3/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbs. chopped parsley
Directions
- Mix all the ingredients together in a salad bowl and refrigerate at least four hours.
- Re-mix and serve.
