Crispy oven baked chicken wings tossed with a spicy Szechuan (Sichuan) peppercorn sauce. Ingredients
- 4 pounds chicken wings, split into drumettes and wingettes
- 1/4 cup baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 TBSP Szechuan peppercorns
- 1 star anise
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 3 medium garlic cloves, minced
- 2 TBSP soy sauce
- 2 TBSP honey
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp sesame oil
