Sweet Potato Casserole
Tired of the same ole sweet potatoes with marshmellows? This is a wonderfully tasty and easy to prepare recipe. For the holidays, prepare this early and just bake before the meal. Ingredients
- 3 cups canned sweet potatoes, drained
- 3 Tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- topping:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup self rising flour
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans, optional
Directions
- Mix ingredients until well blended, pour into casserol dish.
- Topping: melt butter then add other ingredients. Mix well. Sprinkle over top of potato mix. Bake at 350 for 30 - 45 minutes.
