    Sweet Potato Bourbon Casserole Recipe

    I made this for Thanksgiving in the place of the usual sweet potatoes with marshmallows. I will NEVER go back to THAT dish...THIS RECIPE ROCKS! This is the best sweet potato dish I have ever had. I'm so glad I thought of it :)

    Ingredients

    • Casserole Ingredients
    • 1 - 32 oz Can of Sweet potatoes, (mashed)
    • 1 Cup Sugar
    • 1 Stick butter, (melted)
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 2 Eggs, beaten
    • 1 (5.33 oz) Can Evaporated Milk
    • 1 tsp Cinnamon
    • 1 Cup Chopped pecans
    • 1 jigger or 2 oz bourbon
    • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
    • For Topping
    • 1 Cup Flour
    • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
    • 1 Cup Pecans
    • 1 Stick butter, melted

    Directions

    1. Mix all the Casserole ingredients together and spread in 9 x 13 pan.
    2. Then mix all the topping ingredients with a fork and crumble over top of Casserole. Bake in 350 oven for 45 min. Enjoy!
