Sweet Potato Bourbon Casserole Recipe
I made this for Thanksgiving in the place of the usual sweet potatoes with marshmallows. I will NEVER go back to THAT dish...THIS RECIPE ROCKS! This is the best sweet potato dish I have ever had. I'm so glad I thought of it :) Ingredients
- Casserole Ingredients
- 1 - 32 oz Can of Sweet potatoes, (mashed)
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1 Stick butter, (melted)
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 1 (5.33 oz) Can Evaporated Milk
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Cup Chopped pecans
- 1 jigger or 2 oz bourbon
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- For Topping
- 1 Cup Flour
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup Pecans
- 1 Stick butter, melted
Directions
- Mix all the Casserole ingredients together and spread in 9 x 13 pan.
- Then mix all the topping ingredients with a fork and crumble over top of Casserole. Bake in 350 oven for 45 min. Enjoy!
