Surprise Brownies
Ingredients
- 1 pkt German Chocolate cake mix
- 2/3 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine, melted
- 6 ounce Chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. Pecan pcs
- 14 ounce Pkg. caramel candy, (unwrapping the carmels is time consuming but we usually make a game out of it)
Directions
- Mix German chocolate cake mix, 1/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk and melted butter together. Spread half the mix in 9 x 12 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 15 min. Sprinkle on top of baked cake, the chocolate chips and nuts. Heat carmels with 1/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk. Pour over chips and nuts. Spread other half of cake mix over everything. Use a wet off-set spatula to make this easier. Bake at 350 for another 15 min. Let cold and chill 30 min. Cut into small squares. Very rich.
