    Here is a simple and tasty recipe for roll out sugar cookies for higher altitudes.

    Ingredients

    • 2 cups of flour
    • 1/4 tsp. salt
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
    • 1 tbsp. almond extract
    • 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
    • 2 sticks unsalted butter
    • 2 eggs

    Directions

    1. Combine flour, salt, and baking powder
    2. Cream butter and sugar
    3. Beat in eggs, vanilla and almond extract, and add dry ingerdiants
    4. Chill dough overnight
    5. Roll out dough to desired thickness, use cookie cutters to cut out shapes
    6. Bake at 325 for 10-20 minutes depending on thickness
    7. Decorate
