STEAK HOUSE ROAST CACCIATORE
YOU HEAR OF CHICKEN AND TRUKEY CACCIATORE, I WANTED TO MAKE MY OWN VERSION OF IT USING A DIFFERENT KIND OF MEAT. SO I USE STEAK HOUSE ROAST, WITH ALL THE VEGGIES TO MAKE IT INTO A MAIN DISH! Ingredients
- 2.23 pounds steak house beef round half roast
- 2 tbsp. thyme
- 2 tbsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 1/2cups V8 juice
- 1 green bell pepper,chopped
- 1 red bell pepper,chopped
- 1 yellow bell pepper,chopped
- 1 orange bell pepper,chopped
- 1 large sqush,chopped
- 10 oninon broilers, peeled
- 1 cup sweet premium petites (CARROTS)
- 3 celery chopped
- 1 can chunky vegetable spaghetti sauce
Directions
- In a small bowl add the seasonings and mix well.
- Put the roast in a deep oven proof dish,rub with olive oil and seasonings.
- Pour 2 1/2 cups V8 juice on roast.
- Cover and put in a 350 degree oven for 2 hours.
- After two hours add the vegetables and the spaghetti sauce.
- Cover and cook another 1 1/2 hours.
