  • Spanish Coffee And Fudge Sundaes

    Ingredients

    • 4 x brownies or possibly lb. cake slices
    • 1 pt coffee ice cream
    • 1 c. prepared warm fudge sauce
    • 2 Tbsp. dark roast coffee beans
    • 1/4 c. strong coffee
    • 1/2 c. salted Spanish peanuts
    •     (the small peanuts with skins)

    Directions

    1. Line dessert bowls with brownie squares or possibly lb. cake. Set coffee ice cream out to soften a bit. Heat warm fudge sauce over low heat or possibly in the microwave.
    2. Place dark-roast coffee beans in a heavy duty plastic food storage bag and crush them with a small heavy skillet or possibly mallet. If you have a coffee grinder, grind the beans on coarsest setting. Add in beans to sauce with 1/4 c. (2 ounces), strong coffee.
    3. Scoop coffee ice cream on cake or possibly brownies. Top with coffee fudge sauce and salted nuts and serve. WOW!
    4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
