Southwestern Mini-Burgers Recipe
MINI- BURGER RECIPE Ingredients
- 3/4 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped tomato
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro - minced
- 6 bread rolls
- 2 ounces cheddar cheese, lowfat - sliced
- 1 medium avocado - mashed
Directions
- PREPARATION:
- Combine lean ground beef, tomato, chili powder, salt, pepper, tabasco, cumin, and cilantro in a bowl; stir well. Divide mixture into small patties.
- Prepare grill.
- Place patties on grill rack coated with cooking spray. Grill 4 minutes on each side or until done. Place cheese slice on top of each patty. Cover and grill until cheese melts. Spread some mashed avocado on bottom half of each bun. Place patty on top of avocado. Top with lettuce, tomato, and onion (if desired) Serve.
