Sour cream and feta biscuits
Scrumptious sour cream and feta biscuits Ingredients
- 200 ml sour cream
- 200 ml oil
- 3 eggs
- 100 g feta cheese, coarsely grated
- 500 g flour
- 100 g wholemeal flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- Coarse sea salt, caraway seeds for sprinkling
Directions
- With hand egg beater mix and combine sour cream, oil, 2 eggs and cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add flour with baking powder and gently knead soft dough that does not stick.
- With a rolling pin roll out 1 cm thick dough, and with a small round cookie cutter cut it into biscuit shapes.
- Place biscuits onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone sheet.
- Beat the remaining egg and brush each biscuit with it, sprinkle caraway seeds and coarse sea salt on top, if desired.
- Bake biscuits in oven at 200°C for 15 minutes or until golden.
