Smoked Sausage, Tators and Green Beans
My Mom developed this quick recipe. If you like one pot meals this is one to try out. My family likes it. Ingredients
- 1 family package Smoked sausage (your favorite will do)
- 4-6 mediums sized potatoes peeled and quartered
- 1-2 packages fresh frozen green beans
- 2 tbsp Tony's Cajun seasoning (optional)
- Tip: I use beef sausage doesn't seem to have as much grease come out of it as it cooks.
Directions
- Peel potatoes
- cut them in quarters depending on size (sometimes I just half them)
- In a stock pot fill about half full of water
- place cut, peeled potatoes in pot
- Add Tony C's Cajun seasoning
- Add green beans
- Cut sausage into links about 2-3 inches long
- place in pot
- cook on medium heat for about 45 minutes to 1 hour until potatoes are tender.
