Smoked Sausage and Potato Bake
This recipe is easy to put together. Put all ingredients in a deep dish baking pan, cover and bake. I add vegetables in season, and frozen vegetables during the winter months. The first time I made this recipe, both my sons walked in and commented on the aroma in the house. They call this dish the "German Casserole". Ingredients
- 2 packages smoked sausage or kiebasa cut into 1/4ths
- 3 to 4 large potatoes cut into 1/8ths
- 1 large onion cut into 1/8ths
- 1 package fresh or frozen green beans, carrots or both
- Dash of kosher salt
- Dash of gound black pepper
- 2-3 tbls. extra virgin olive oil
Directions
- Place all ingredients into a large deep dish baking pan
- Toss until coated
- Cover tightly with 2-3 pieces of aluminum foil
- Bake at 375 degrees for 90 minutes
