    Hello Everyone!

For some time now every time I went to the market and the meat area I couldn’t help but be puzzled by the smoked chicken. They generally come as a whole chicken or at least the complete boneless breasts.

I had bought one many years ago and I just fried it. It was nice, but not awesome. So, I’ve had this thing about making something awesome out of it for some time.

Technically a smoked chicken is ready to eat and you can basically just heat it up and eat it. But doing that would not be awesome. So! A few days ago, my brother in law dropped by with, guess what? You guessed right! A smoked chicken.

My bother in law is American and had not seen a lot of these (they’re not that common here either, especially if you’re not looking for them) so he was like: what do we do with this? And there was my chance!

This is tasty, quick and easy. In other words: perfect! LOL!

    Hope you enjoy!

    Ingredients

    ¼ cup ketchup.

    1 tbsp. oyster sauce.

For the sauce, just mix all the ingredients.

This is one of my traditional glazing sauces. The main ingredients are the honey and red wine. From there I usually make small variations.

    Directions

Remove the wrap (it is sometimes very thin, be careful not to leave it on) and brush very well with the sauce. Cover with aluminum foil and put in the oven for 35 minutes at medium fire. Then uncover and leave at least 20 additional minutes brushing with the sauce every five minutes. After the 20 minutes take it out and brush well. Then cover with the aluminum foil and allow to rest for al least 10 minutes.

    Uncover, brush again and enjoy!
