    Ingredients

    • 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
    • 1/2 lt. ground beef
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/8 tsp. pepper
    • 1/2 cup dry red wine
    • 1 (6 oz.) tomato paste
    • 1 (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    • 3 cups spaghetti sauce
    • 1 egg, lightly beaten
    • 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    • 2 cups cottage cheese
    • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
    • 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
    • 12 lasagna noodles

    Directions

    1. Meat Mixture: Brown meat & onion; drain. Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, dry red wine, tomato paste, tomato sauce, spaghetti sauce to meat mixture, mix well.
    2. Cheese Mixture: Beat egg, parsley flakes, cottate cheese and Parmesan cheese.
    3. Grease crock pot.
    4. Layering: 4 lasgna noodles, spread 1/2 cheese mixture over noodles. Top with 1/2 meat mixture and 1/2 of mozzarella cheese.
    5. Repeat the process.
    6. Add remaining 4 noodles and meat mixture.
    7. Cover and cook on low for 7 hours.
