Six Pears and an Apple Pie!!!

- Filling:
- 6 pears – peeled and sliced
- 1 apple – peeled and sliced
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 inch piece of fresh ginger – grated
- ½ cup flour
- Zest of ½ lemon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Graham Cracker Crust:
- 8-10 sleeves of graham crackers
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- Topping:
- ½ cup flour
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons brown sugar
Directions
- Preheat Oven 350 degrees:
- In a food processor place the graham crackers, butter and brown sugar. Process until the butter is combined and then press into a pie plate.
- Place the pie crust in the oven for 10-15 minutes, then remove and let cool.
- Combine all of the ingredients for the filling in a bowl. Place the filling in the pie crust.
- For the topping combine the flour, butter and brown sugar in a bowl and crumble this with your fingers, until it is in little bits. Place this mixture on top of the pie.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Top the pie with fresh whip cream.
