Simple Chickpea Spread
This is just a simple spread that can be be had at parties, cookouts or anytime. It's easy to make and you can add anything you wish to it red peppers, roasted garlic just like hummus. Your mind is your canvas Ingredients
- 1 19 oz can chickpeas
- 1 stalk celery chopped
- 1/2 red onion chopped
- 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp dried dill
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Drain and rinse chickpeas.
- Place in a bowl and mash with a fork.
- Fold in remaining ingredients then chill.
- Serve with pita bread, crostinis or the cracker of choice.
