Shredded Brussels Sprouts
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb Brussel sprouts
- 1/4 c. Butter
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Grnd white pepper
- 2 tsp Water
- 1 Tbsp. Fresh lime juice
Directions
- In large bowl of cool, salted water, soak brussels sprouts 10 min.
- Drain; trim ends and throw away any bitter outside leaves. Cut each sprout in half lengthwise; thinly slice crosswise.
- In a large skillet, over medium high heat, heat butter. Add in sprouts, salt and pepper; over high heat, saute/fry 5 min or possibly till sprouts start to brown. Add in the water; cook, stirring 2 to 3 min, till sprouts are crisp-tender. Stir in lime juice.
