Seared Sea Scallops in a Saffron~Tomato~Basil Broth

- 8 ounces Fresh Sea Scallops
- one tablespoon Old Bay Seafood Seasoning, sprinkle over Scallops
- 2 tablespoons sweet cream butter
- one 10 ounce can tomato sauce
- several pinches saffron (use sparingly)
- Fresh Basil Leaves
Directions
- In a small saucepan add tomato sauce, basil leaves, saffron on low heat
- Add butter to a skillet on medium high heat once melted add seasoned Sea Scallops, sear 2-3 minutes per side
- Plate and add tomato saffron sauce
- Delicious!
