Scrumptious Hush Puppies
Ingredients
- 1 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 Large eggs
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 (2") onions, minced
- 4 tbsp. sugar
- Healthy pinch of salt
- 1 stick celery, minced
- Add in beer till thick
Directions
- Heat butter in small saucepan. Add in minced onions and celery; saute/fry till tender. Mix other ingredients, except beer. Blend in celery and onions; add in beer till thick. Heat deep fryer and cook till golden. Serves 4-6 people.
