Savory cheese wreath
This rustic, soft and savory cheese wreath is very easy to make. Ingredients
- Filling:
- 150 g cottage cheese
- 50 ml sour cream
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp ground white pepper
- Dough:
- 200 ml milk
- 20 g butter
- 410 g cake flour
- 1 sachet instant yeast (7 g)
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder (about 6 g)
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp ground white pepper
- 1 egg
- 50 ml natural yogurt
- Coating and sprinkling:
- 1 yolk, beaten
- 1 tbs sesame, sunflower or caraway seeds
Directions
1.Al ingredients should be at room temperature. For the filling mix and combine all the ingredients, set aside.5.Immediately, on a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle with a rolling pin. Cover it evenly with the prepared filling.6.Starting at one of the long ends, roll the dough into a tight roll. Shape it into a wreath, tucking the ends into each other. Place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.Useful Links
