Sauteed Green Beans with Bacon & Onions
Scrumptious side dish with any main course entrée. Enjoy! Ingredients
- 16 ounces Fresh or Frozen Green Beans
- Drizzling of olive oil
- 1/2 fresh lemon
- 2 slices bacon (cut into pieces)
- 1/2 onion sliced and separated
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
- Blanch green beans in boiling salted water 4 minutes drain and set aside.
- In a saute pan add olive oil, lemon juice, bacon pieces and cook until done, add onion until tender
- On low heat add drained green beans, stir gently to combine and cook 3 minutes.
- Place in a serving dish and Enjoy!
