Sausages in balsamic sauce
Wonderfully succulent, aromatic and tasty lunch or light supper. Ingredients
- 400g sausages (for cooking and baking), sliced (1 cm thick slices)
- 4 tbs olive oil
- 100 ml balsamic vinegar
- 200 ml red wine
- Fresh parsley or chives for sprinkling
Directions
- Fry sausage slices in hot oil until brown on all sides.
- Gradually add balsamic vinegar and wine, reduce the flame and gently simmer for 8-10 minutes or until liquid is reduced by half.
- Serve sprinkled with chopped, fresh parsley or chives with a side dish of boiled potatoes.
