Saltine Cracker Bars
Ingredients
- Saltine crackers
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. real butter
- 1-1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 1 c. nuts
Directions
- Line a jelly roll pan with aluminum foil. Place a single layer of crackers on the bottom. Boil sugar and butter for 3 min; do not over cook. Pour over crackers. Bake 15 min at 300 degrees. Watch - it should get golden on the edges.
- Remove form oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let it set for a couple of min, then spread the chocolate over crackers and top with nuts. Let cold and break into serving-size pcs.
