Roasted Garlic And Chilitpin Spread
Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
- 1 pch Salt
- 1 lrg Head Garlic
- 1/2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 x Chiltepin Chilies
- Grnd Fine Healthy pinch Minced Parsley
- 1 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pch Fresh Black Pepper
- 1 pch Sm. Habanero Pasilla Blend
Directions
- This recipe is a take-off of the classical Italian roasted garlic set in the middle of the table used to spread on crusty bread as a substitute for butter. Also makes a great topping for grilled foods.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut tip off head of garlic and rub down with vegetable oil. Place on baking sheet; bake for approx. 20 min, or possibly till soft and golden brown. Remove from oven; let cold. Peel garlic, throw away skins.
- Place garlic in food processor or possibly mash by hand with a fork. Blend in all ingredients thoroughly till smooth.
