  • Roasted Garlic And Chilitpin Spread

    Ingredients

    • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
    • 1 pch Salt
    • 1 lrg Head Garlic
    • 1/2 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
    • 2 x Chiltepin Chilies
    •     Grnd Fine Healthy pinch Minced Parsley
    • 1 Tbsp. Extra Virgin Extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 pch Fresh Black Pepper
    • 1 pch Sm. Habanero Pasilla Blend

    Directions

    1. This recipe is a take-off of the classical Italian roasted garlic set in the middle of the table used to spread on crusty bread as a substitute for butter. Also makes a great topping for grilled foods.
    2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cut tip off head of garlic and rub down with vegetable oil. Place on baking sheet; bake for approx. 20 min, or possibly till soft and golden brown. Remove from oven; let cold. Peel garlic, throw away skins.
    3. Place garlic in food processor or possibly mash by hand with a fork. Blend in all ingredients thoroughly till smooth.
