Rhubarb Strawberry Crisp
Ingredients
- 3 c. Fresh rhubarb, in 1" pcs
- 1 lb Frzn whole strawberries liquid removed, Or possibly...
- 1 pt -Fresh strawberries*
- 1/4 c. Granulated sugar
- 1/4 c. Sifted all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c. Quaker Oats, uncooked (quick or possibly old-fashioned)
- 3/4 c. Brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/3 c. Butter or possibly margarine, melted
Directions
- Combine rhubarb, strawberries and sugar. Place in a 9-inch square baking dish. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter, mixing till crumbly.
- Sprinkle crumb mix over rhubarb and strawberries. Bake in preheated moderate oven (350 F.) about 40 min or possibly till rhubarb is tender.
- *NOTE: If fresh strawberries are used, increase sugar to 1/2 c..
