Ingredients

  • 3 c. Fresh rhubarb, in 1" pcs
  • 1 lb Frzn whole strawberries liquid removed, Or possibly...
  • 1 pt -Fresh strawberries*
  • 1/4 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 c. Sifted all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c. Quaker Oats, uncooked (quick or possibly old-fashioned)
  • 3/4 c. Brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/3 c. Butter or possibly margarine, melted

Directions

  1. Combine rhubarb, strawberries and sugar. Place in a 9-inch square baking dish. Combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter, mixing till crumbly.
  2. Sprinkle crumb mix over rhubarb and strawberries. Bake in preheated moderate oven (350 F.) about 40 min or possibly till rhubarb is tender.
  3. NOTE: If fresh strawberries are used, increase sugar to 1/2 c..
